To provide the sport, physical activity, active leisure industry & people with support, education and routes to employment.
By working towards our core values, we aspire to meet the needs of our partners and stakeholders. We operate to the core values listed below:
Quality improvement through cultural development: We are always looking to aim for excellence but are aware of the need to be striving to constantly improve through our activity whether it be employment liaison, delivery and assessing of qualifications, IQA, relationships with stakeholders and maintaining up to date knowledge and expertise within our field. With this in mind, we aim to provide value added services which will stretch and challenge our learners ensuring that performance and quality remains at the highest possible standard.
Governance and management by processes: For us to be successful in our field, we ensure we continue to develop and adhere to a carefully and strategic business plan which ensures effectiveness, efficiency and performance to the highest possible standard. With our visionary, inspiring and enthusiastic steering of the organisation, we ensure that we deliver our outcomes in accordance to local & national legislation following our own policies and procedures. We understand the importance to deliver outstanding quality and follow the strategic development plan which will enable us to develop and maintain strong links with stakeholders, partnerships, learners & all involved with any of our provisions. To be able to do this, we ensure that we stick to and develop our code of conduct and ethics taking responsibility for our provisions and how they impact the local community.
Personnel development and organisational learning: We fully believe and have developed a culture of investing in people. This allows us to identify people and organisations we would like to work with and using the resources, enthusiasm and passion to develop members of staff and understanding the value and skill sets of each individual. Interdependence is key as we all have individual roles within the organisation and identifying how, when, where and how people can work together and how we can complement one another. We encourage all people involved with our organisation to be innovative and to adopt the attitude of “you can never stop learning” . This develops a culture within our organisation that all members feel valued and feel that they can contribute not only to their own development but to the development of the organisation as a whole.
Partnerships and innovation: We pride ourselves in having the ability to be able to identify potential partnerships and how to develop new and existing partnerships. Creativity and innovation is key to SportsED which allows us to stay on top of the game and up to date with our industry. Adaptability is important as we are fully aware that each partnership, learner, provision and programme is not the same and needs to be adapted to best suit all parties involved.
